tsstop - stops tape support
/usr/etc/ts/tsstop [ -a ] [ -d pathname ] [ -v vertex-number ]
The tsstop command stops tape support or one of the personality daemons.
When a personality daemon is terminated, the tape support driver
terminates all users with the device file open and prevents further opens
of the device until all current users have closed the device file.
The tsstop command accepts the following options:
-a Terminates tape support. This option stops the entire
system including all personality daemons.
-d pathname Terminates the personality daemon identified by a
pathname, pathname. The pathname specifics the device
file that is managed by the personality daemon. For
information about the names of device files, see the
tsset(1M) man page.
-v vertex_number Terminates the personality daemon identified by a
vertex number, vertex_number. This vertex number
specifics the device file that is managed by the
personality daemon. The vertex number is displayed by
the ls command.
