     isascii - ASCII character test

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     int
     isascii(int c);

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     The isascii() function tests for an ASCII  character,  which
is any character
 with a value less than or equal to 0177.

RETURN VALUES    [Toc]    [Back]

     The  isascii()  macro  returns  zero  if the character tests
false or non-zero
     if the character tests true.

CAVEATS    [Toc]    [Back]

     The argument to isascii() must be EOF or representable as an
unsigned
     char; otherwise, the result is undefined.
