     unshareRemovableMedia - stop sharing a removable media device

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     /usr/sysadm/privbin/unshareRemovableMedia device

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     unshareRemovableMedia is a	privileged command that	stops a	removable
     media device from being shared with other systems on the network.	After
     running unshareRemovableMedia, device will	not be accessible via
     mediad(1M)	on remote workstations.

OPTIONS    [Toc]    [Back]

     device    Device special file corresponding to the	removable media	device
	       to stop sharing.

FILES    [Toc]    [Back]

     /etc/config/mediad.config	 Configuration file for	mediad(1M).
				 unshareRemovableMedia edits this file to stop
				 sharing a device.  mediad notices the change
				 via fam(1M).
