     shareRemovableMedia - share a removable media device

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     /usr/sysadm/privbin/shareRemovableMedia device

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     shareRemovableMedia is a privileged command that shares a removable media
     device with other systems on the network.	After running
     shareRemovableMedia, device will be accessible via	mediad(1M) on remote
     workstations.

OPTIONS    [Toc]    [Back]

     device    Device special file corresponding to the	removable media	device
	       to share.

FILES    [Toc]    [Back]

     /etc/config/mediad.config	 Configuration file for	mediad(1M).
				 shareRemovableMedia edits this	file to	share
				 a device.  mediad notices the change via
				 fam(1M).
