NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

fuibyte - General: Returns a byte from user instruction
       address space

NOTES    [Toc]    [Back]

The fuibyte routine is for machines that have separate
address spaces for code and data. Because the Alpha architecture
does not have separate address spaces for code and
data, fuibyte is mapped to fubyte. The fuibyte routine is
provided for compatibility reasons. See the routine
description for fubyte for a complete description of
       fuibyte.
