NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

suibyte - General: Writes a byte into user instruction
       address space

NOTES    [Toc]    [Back]

The suibyte routine is for use on machines that have separate
address spaces for code and data. Because the Alpha
architecture does not have separate address spaces for
code and data, suibyte is mapped to subyte. The suibyte
routine is provided for compatibility reasons. See the
routine description for subyte for a complete description
       of suibyte.
