       cpq_mibs  -  Tru64 UNIX SNMP subagent daemon for supported
       MIBS

       /usr/sbin/cpq_mibs

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

       The cpq_mibs daemon is the subagent that  implements  support
 for the supported Tru64 UNIX MIBs.  It currently supports
 the following MIBs: cpqHealth cpqHost cpqScsi cpqStdEq
 cpqSysInfo cpqNIC

       This  daemon  is started and stopped automatically, and in
       conjunction with the SNMP master agent snmpd; no  configuration
 or user action is required. When servicing requests
       for these MIBs, unexpected conditions are logged using the
       syslog function.

       Together  with os_mibs, this daemon provides the SNMP data
       required by the Insight  Manager  daemon,  insightd.   See

       The system daemon log file.  Where date is the date.  System
 health MIB definition file.  Host MIB definition file.
       Small  Computer  System  Interface  MIB  definition  file.
       Standard equipment MIB definition file.   System  information
  MIB  definition files.  Shell script that starts and
       stops the cpq_mibs daemon.
