The vs provides access to the MVME328S family of SCSI VME
I/O boards.
Depending on the version, it provides a single or dual channel singleended
SCSI interface. It is attached to the VME bus of the
system, controlled
by the vme(4) VMEchip2 interface chip. Several
types of both internal
and external connectors are provided, also depending
on the version
of the MVME328S.
HARDWARE CONFIGURATION [Toc] [Back] The card's base address (matching the addr locator on the
configuration
line) is defined through a set of nine jumpers, labeled
``JB1'' on the
board, near the fuse in a corner of the card. They are contiguous to the
``JA7'' single jumper and ``JA8'' dual jumper, located immediately to the
left of the ``JB1'' block.
The only supported configurations are:
JB1 Address Configuration
___X_XX__ 0xffff9000 1st board
_____XX__ 0xffff9800 2nd board
____XX_X_ 0xffff4800 3rd board
_____X_X_ 0xffff5800 4th board
___X___X_ 0xffff7000 5th board
_______X_ 0xffff7800 6th board
cd(4), ch(4), intro(4), scsi(4), sd(4), ss(4), st(4), uk(4),
vme(4)
The daughterboard providing access to the second SCSI channel is currently
not supported by OpenBSD.
