DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     The vme driver provides access to the  VMEchip2  ASIC  which
interfaces from
     the  MC68040-compatible local bus to the VMEbus.  On MVME187
and MVME197
     boards it is attached to the pcctwo(4)  PCCchip2  local  bus
controller.  On
     MVME188  boards it attaches to the syscon(4) bus controller.
