dbg(4) dbg(4)

NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

dbg, debug	- the debug filesystem

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

The debug filesystem, historically	mounted	under /debug, provides an
     interface to running processes.

This interface has	been made obsolete by the new proc(4) interface	which
is	mounted	under /proc. proc provides more functionality,	is easier to
use, and is the recommended interface for accessing a running processes.

SEE ALSO    [Toc]    [Back]

     mntproc(1M), proc(4).
