     unmonitorRemovableMedia - disable mediad monitoring of a device

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     /usr/sysadm/privbin/unmonitorRemovableMedia device

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     unmonitorRemovableMedia is	a privileged command that tellls mediad(1M) to
     stop monitoring device.

OPTIONS    [Toc]    [Back]

     device    Device special file corresponding to the	removable media	device
	       to stop monitoring.

FILES    [Toc]    [Back]

     /etc/config/mediad.config	 Configuration file for	mediad(1M).
				 monitorRemovableMedia edits this file to stop
				 monitoring a device.  mediad notices the
				 change	via fam(1M).
