     dtshutdown	- Notify desktop and shutdown the system

     /usr/sysadm/privbin/dtshutdown [-g	<grace_period>]	[-i <init_state>] [-p]
     [-w "hr:min(am|pm)	day"]

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     dtshutdown	shuts down (restarts) the system after shutting	down the
     desktop. This command is used by the Shut Down System and Restart System
     tasks on the toolchest(1X)	System menu.

OPTIONS    [Toc]    [Back]

     -g	<grace_period>
	  allows the super-user	to change the number of	seconds	from the 60-
	  second default. By default both the Shut Down	System and Restart
	  System tasks use a grace period of zero.

     -i	<init_state>
	  specifies the	state that init(1M) is to be put in following the
	  warnings, if any. By default,	system state  "0" is used.

	  Supported init_states	are: 0,	1, s, S, 6

	  Please see shutdown(1M) for more details.


     -p	  If the new init_state	is 0, then -p requests that the	power be
	  turned off after the system is shut down. Only some systems support
	  this.


     -w	"hr:min(am|pm) day"
	  request that system power back on at a future	time. Please see
	  wakeupat(1m).	Also, note that	'-w' takes a single argument, enclosed
	  in quotes.

	  For example:

	       -w "5:30pm Monday"
