     runexec - run an executable program described in an executable descriptor
     file

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     /usr/sysadm/bin/runexec executable-descriptor [ operand ]

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     runexec Runs the executable described by executable-descriptor, which is
     an	executable descriptor file.  The purpose of an executable descriptor
     file is to	specify	certain	auxiliary information about a program that can
     by	used by	the System Manager (sysmgr(1M)).

     If	operand	is specified, it is passed on the command line to the
     executable	described in executable-descriptor.

FILES    [Toc]    [Back]

     /usr/sysadm/catalogdf/*.edf    Executable descriptor files.
     /usr/sysadm/taskdf/*.edf	    Executable descriptor files.
