xsetmon, xscreen - set video output format, sync sources and
gamma correction values

xsetmon [-display display] [-help] [-nogui] [-target target
display] [filename]
DESCRIPTION [Toc] [Back]
Xsetmon is a GUI program that allows a user to set the video
output format/combinations, the sync sources for the
graphics display, and gamma correction values. Xsetmon can
also be used to set the default video format to be used at
system power-up or graphics initialization. Users wishing to
change the default video format must have root privileges on
the target machine.
xscreen is an alternative name for xsetmon.

-display display
This argument allows you to specify the server to
connect to; see X(1).
-help Print out the `Usage:' command syntax summary.
-target target display
This argument allows you to specify the target
display whose video output you want to affect.
-nogui This argument allows Xsetmon to load a file
previously saved without the user's intervention.
ENVIRONMENT [Toc] [Back]
DISPLAY To set the default host name and display number for
the Xsetmon window.
