      attributes - describe an audio file

 SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]
      /opt/audio/bin/attributes filename

 DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]
      This command provides information about an audio file, including file
      format, data format, sampling rate, number of channels, data length
      and header length.

 EXAMPLE    [Toc]    [Back]
      The following is an example of using attributes on an audio file
      supplied with HP-UX.

           $ /opt/audio/bin/attributes /opt/audio/sounds/welcome.au

           File Name: /opt/audio/sounds/welcome.au
           File Type: NeXT/Sun
           Data Format: Mu-law
           Sampling Rate: 22050
           Channels: Mono
           Duration: 1.972 seconds
           Bits per Sample: 8
           Header Length: 40 bytes
           Data Length: 43492 bytes
