NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

ipsec_mgr - Manipulate the state of the IPsec subsystem

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

       /usr/sbin/ipsec_mgr [-hv] [-d spi]

OPTIONS    [Toc]    [Back]

Deletes the Security Association (SA) bundle specified by
the Security Parameter Index (spi). Displays a usage message
 and exits. Specifies verbose mode.

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

The ipsec_mgr command enables you to manipulate the state
of the IPsec subsystem. It is currently limited to deleting
an existing Security Association (SA). To delete an
SA, you specify any Security Parameter Index (SPI) in the
SA. If you delete an SA, all the SA's in the bundle that
are part of the same IKE negotiation are deleted.
