NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

       sys_attrs_bsd_tty - bsd_tty subsystem attributes

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

This reference page lists and describes attributes for the
BSD Terminal (bsd_tty) kernel subsystem. Refer to the
sys_attrs(5) reference page for an introduction to the
       topic of kernel subsystem attributes.

The number of clist buffers to be allocated.

This TTY subsystem is specifically for the clistbased
TTY subsystem. (The operating system has
both STREAMS-based and clist-based TTY subsystems.)
The clist-based TTY subsystem is used by the console
 and the serial ports.

To configure pseudo terminals to be clist-based,
specify the pseudodevice pty nn (default: nn = 80)
              in the kernel configuration file.
