NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

stl_image - setld software subset image data files
       (*.image)

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

Each software product that is distributed for installation
with the setld utility has an associated image data file
(prodcode.image) created by the kits utility, where prodcode
is the unique three-character product code, for example:
OAT100.image. The image file contains one record for
each subset in the kit, and each record contains three
fields separated by whitespace: The modulo-65536 checksum
of the subset file (after compression, if the file is compressed)
The size of the subset file in kilobytes (after
compression, if the file is compressed) The product code,
       subset mnemonic, and version number

EXAMPLES    [Toc]    [Back]

The following example illustrates a hypothetical OAT.image
       file:

       15923 70 OATODB100 24305 400 OATODBDOC100
