NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

Corrupt, .Corrupt - Contains copies of files that could
       not be processed

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

       /usr/spool/uucp/.Corrupt/*

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

The /usr/spool/uucp/.Corrupt directory contains copies of
files that could not be processed by the uucp program. For
example, if a file is not in the correct form for transfer,
the uucp program places a copy of that file in the
directory for later handling by the system manager.

This directory is rarely used. The files in it are removed
periodically by the uudemon.cleanu(4) command, a shell
       procedure.
