       clear - Clears terminal screen

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

       clear

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

       The  clear  command  clears  your screen, if possible.  It
       looks in the environment for the terminal type and then in
       the  terminfo  database  to  determine how to perform this
       operation.

       Terminal information database.
