WNLLONG(3F) Last changed: 1-6-98

NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

WNLLONG - Selects NAMELIST	output line length

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     CALL WNLLONG(length)

IMPLEMENTATION    [Toc]    [Back]

     UNICOS, UNICOS/mk,	and IRIX systems

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

On	IRIX systems, this routine is valid only when compiling	programs
with the MIPSpro 7	Fortran	90 compiler or when compiling programs with
the -craylibs option to the MIPSpro 7.2 F77 compiler. See the "BUGS"
     subsection	for further details.

WNLLONG specifies the output line length of the NAMELIST variable.

length The maximum output	line length for	NAMELIST writes, in the
	     range 8 < length <	267. A	length of -1 has the effect of
setting the output	length to the initial, default value (133
	     for NAMELIST output).

When using	the CF90 compiler on UNICOS systems, all arguments must	be
of	default	kind unless documented otherwise. On UNICOS the default
kind is KIND=8 for	integer, real, complex,	and logical arguments.

NOTES    [Toc]    [Back]

WNLLONG is	overridden by the RECL parameter on the	OPEN statement.
Where possible, RECL should be used in place of WNLLONG to	select the
     NAMELIST output line length.

BUGS    [Toc]    [Back]

On	IRIX systems, the implementation of these routines has not been
     thoroughly	tested.
