PXFPAUSE - Suspends process execution until signal
SUBROUTINE PXFPAUSE (ierror)
INTEGER ierror
UNICOS, UNICOS/mk, and IRIX systems
IEEE standard interface for FORTRAN 77
The PXFPAUSE subroutine uses the pause(2) system call to suspend the
calling process until it receives a signal. The signal must be one
that is not currently set to be ignored by the calling process.
The following argument is valid for this routine:
ierrno
A default integer output variable that contains nonzero if
PXFPAUSE returned. This subroutine never returns with a zero or
successful status.
On IRIX systems, this routine is in libfortran.so which is linked by
default when compiling programs with the MIPSpro 7 Fortran 90 compiler
or when compiling programs with the -craylibs option to the MIPSpro
7.2 F77 compiler.
When using the CF90 compiler or MIPSpro 7 Fortran 90 compiler on
UNICOS, UNICOS/mk, or IRIX systems, all arguments must be of default
kind unless documented otherwise. On UNICOS and UNICOS/mk, default
kind is KIND=8 for integer, real, complex, and logical arguments; on
IRIX systems, the default kind is KIND=4.
Replace any Fortran reference to pause() with a subroutine call to
PXFPAUSE.
On UNICOS and UNICOS/mk systems, pause is a function or a subroutine
reference. On IRIX systems, it is a function reference.
