monobuffer(3G) monobuffer(3G)

NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

monobuffer	- configures the framebuffer for monoscopic viewing

C SPECIFICATION    [Toc]    [Back]

     void monobuffer(void)

PARAMETERS    [Toc]    [Back]

     none

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

monobuffer	invokes	monoscopic buffer mode. When monobuffer is selected
in	conjunction with singlebuffer, a single	color buffer is	allocated.
When monobuffer is	selected in conjunction	with doublebuffer, two color
buffers (front and	back) are allocated.

monobuffer	does not take effect until gconfig is called. If neither
monobuffer	nor stereobuffer is called, gconfig defaults to	monoscopic
     buffer mode.

SEE ALSO    [Toc]    [Back]

     gconfig, stereobuffer

NOTES    [Toc]    [Back]

The made up term monoscopic follows in an obvious way from	the accepted
     stereoscopic.
