LDTBSEEK(3X)							  LDTBSEEK(3X)

NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

     ldtbseek -	seek to	the symbol table of a common object file

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     #include <stdio.h>
     #include <filehdr.h>
     #include <syms.h>
     #include <ldfcn.h>

     int ldtbseek (ldptr)
     LDFILE *ldptr;

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     ldtbseek seeks to the symbol table	of the	object file currently
     associated	with ldptr.

     ldtbseek returns SUCCESS or FAILURE. If the symbol table has been
     stripped from the object file or if it cannot seek	to the symbol table,
     ldtbseek fails.

     The program must be loaded	with the object	file access routine library
     libmld.a.

SEE ALSO    [Toc]    [Back]
