     getheight - returns the maximum character height in the current raster
     font

     none

FUNCTION RETURN	VALUE
     The returned value	of this	function is the	maximum	height (in pixels) of
     a character in the	current	font.

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     getheight returns the maximum height of the characters, in	the current
     raster font.  The height is defined as the	number of pixels between the
     top of the	tallest	ascender (in characters	such as	f and h) and the
     bottom of the lowest descender (in	characters such	as y and p).
