     getipforwarding - get ipforwarding	state using systune

     /usr/sysadm/privbin/getipforwarding

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     Getipforwarding uses systune to get the ipforwarding state.  Systune
     supports ipforwarding since 6.3 only. When	the command is completed, it
     writes a '1' to stdout if ipforwarding is on and a	'0' if it is off.  If
     the ipforwarding systune is equal to 2 (i.e. forward packets unless they
     contain a source-route option) getipforwarding returns 1.
