CONFIGIPFORWARDSTATE(1M) CONFIGIPFORWARDSTATE(1M)

NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

configipforwardstate - turn IP forwarding on or off

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     /usr/sysadm/privbin/configipforwardstate [-n] -on | -off

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

This command with the -off	option enables the user	to stop	forwarding
routing information to other systems. If multiple network interfaces are
present or	if a point-to-point link is in use, you	may want to suppress
the routing information. The -q option is added to
/etc/config/routed.options. The -on option	enables	the routing
     information to be forwarded again.

OPTIONS    [Toc]    [Back]

-n Restart the network after making the changes. This has the effect
of killing any applications with files open on a network file	system
or current working directories in network file system. If this
switch is not	used, the system will not be fully configured until
the network is restarted (such as with a reboot).

FILES    [Toc]    [Back]

     /etc/config/routed.options Route daemon	options	file
