configdefaultroute - add or delete a default route
/usr/sysadm/privbin/configdefaultroute [-n] -add | -delete -i
destIpAddress
Configdefaultroute adds or deletes a default route from the network
routing table. This enables connection to be established with with the
remote location. This may be necessary if a point-to-point link is in use
or when route
are off.
-add specifies to add a default route. The entry is added to the end of
/etc/config/static-route.options.
-delete
specifies to delete a default route.
-i destIpAddress
the IP address on the other end of the link.
-n Restart the network after making the changes. This has the effect
of killing any applications with files open on a network file system
or current working directories in network file system. If this
switch is not used, the system will not be fully configured until
the network is restarted (such as with a reboot).
