ADDEXPORTSENTRY(1M) ADDEXPORTSENTRY(1M)

NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

addexportsentry - add an entry into /etc/exports file.

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     /usr/sysadm/privbin/addexportsentry -n dirname [ -o options ] [ -u	]

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

Addexportsentry adds an entry into	/etc/exports file. Please refer to
     exportfs(1M) for more details.

OPTIONS    [Toc]    [Back]

     -n	dirname
Dirname is the local filesystem/directory to be
	       exported/shared.

     -o	options
Options is the option flags to export/share. It is described in
	       fstab(4).

-u This flag specifies "update" behavior. It has meaning only in
the situation where an entry for	the named directory already
exists. If the flag is specified, then the existing entry is
replaced	with the new information. If the flag is not specified
	       then an error is	returned.

FILES    [Toc]    [Back]

/etc/exports Static information	about export/share directories.
