NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

lmswitchr - switch	REPORTLOG file to a new	file

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     lmswitchr [ -c license_file ] feature new-file

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

lmswitchr switches	the FLEXadmin REPORTLOG	log file to a new file.	The
feature argument is to connect to the correct vendor-daemon. All feature
log entries for that daemon are moved to the new file.

OPTIONS    [Toc]    [Back]

     -c	license_file
Use the specified license_file.	If this	switch is not
specified, lmswitchr looks for the environment variable
LM_LICENSE_FILE. If that environment variable is not set,
	       lmswitchr looks for the file
	       /usr/local/flexlm/licenses/license.dat.

NOTES    [Toc]    [Back]

IRIX systems typically install licenses in	/var/flexlm/license.dat, not
     in	/usr/local/flexlm/licenses/license.dat.
