configResolver - updates the host resolution order.
/usr/sysadm/privbin/configResolver [-r hostResOrder]
configResolver configures the host resolution order used by various
applications to resolve the hostnames on the system. This command is used
by the Set Up and Start NIS, Add Host, and Modify Network Settings tasks
to configure the host resolution order.
-r hostResOrder
A list specifying the ordering of host lookup services used by
gethostbyname(3N) and gethostbyaddr(3N). The recognized services and
their keywords are Sun's network information service (nis), DNS
(dns) and /etc/hosts (files). The keywords are separated by white
space or a slash (/). configResolver sets the hosts attribute with
the given <hostResOrder> in /etc/nsswitch.conf.
