     ADDZONE(1M) K-Talk by	Xinet (10/14/99	10.1) ADDZONE(1M)

     NAME    [Toc]    [Back]
	  /usr/etc/appletalk/addzone - add a zone to a specific
	  interface

     SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]
	  addzone interface zone [ zone	] [ zone ] [...]

     DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]
Addzone uses the AppleTalk Zone Information Protocol to add
a zone to the	network	attached to a specific interface. If
the zone never appears, it is	a sign that the	nbpd(1m)
daemon is malfunctioning. Adding a zone to the loopback
(lo0)	adds it	to the local pseudo-net. If other routers are
present on the same network, it is important that each have
the same list	of zones. This	is most	easily accomplished by
designating a	``seed'' router	and allowing the other routers
to obtain their zone lists from it. K-Talk will attempt to
obtain a zone	list from other	routers	on the net as well as
	  adding those provided	through	addzone.

     DIAGNOSTICS    [Toc]    [Back]
Can't	add zones to a Phase 1 network	Phase 1	networks have
						only one zone, so
						additional zones can
						not be specified.
