SYNOPSIS [Toc] [Back]
/usr/sbin/stm/uut/bin/sys/memlogd
DESCRIPTION [Toc] [Back]
The Support Tools Manager (STM) uses a memory logging daemon ( memlogd
) to periodically poll main memory for single bit errors, and log them
to the memory log file ( memlog ).
memlogd is launched automatically at boot by the STM daemon, diagmond.
The User Interface, xstm , mstm , or cstm , Daemon commands can also
be used to launch the daemon as well as shut it down and view the
daemon's activity log.
The log files created by memlogd can be viewed using the STM utility
logtool.
