 NAME    [Toc]    [Back]
kks - Kana Kanji conversion server

 SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]
      kks [port-number]

 DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]
kks is a Kana Kanji conversion server which communicates with Kana
      Kanji conversion library. kks uses
/usr/lib/asx/dict/japanese/j1_mphrase as the system dictionary. If a
port-number is specified, kks uses the port to provide its service.
If no port-number is specified, kks searches /etc/services and gets
the value of nuekks as the port-number to be used.

kks writes host-name and port-number into /var/asx/.serverlist at the
beginning of its operation, and deletes them at the end of its
      operation.

 WARNINGS    [Toc]    [Back]
port-number should be greater than 1023.

The version of kks and Kana Kanji conversion library(libjpn.sl) shold
      be the same one.
