NOSTICKYTMP(4) NOSTICKYTMP(4)

NAME    [Toc]    [Back]

nostickytmp, nocleantmp - control temporary files

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

The configuration flag nostickytmp	selects	the permissions	of the
temporary directories. If	nostickytmp is off, /tmp and /usr/tmp, will be
changed to	sticky directories at boot time. If it	is on, the mode	of the
     temporary directories won't be changed.

If	the configuration flag nocleantmp is off, /tmp will be cleaned up at
boot time. If it is on, none of the files	in /tmp	will be	removed.

The value of the flags can	be set to on or	off using chkconfig(1M).

FILES    [Toc]    [Back]

     /etc/config/nostickytmp
     /etc/config/nocleantmp
