     outbox - publish files in user's Web Out Box

SYNOPSIS    [Toc]    [Back]

     outbox [ -f folderName ] [file]

DESCRIPTION    [Toc]    [Back]

     outbox is a simple	tool to	Publish	files automatically to the user's Out
     Box page. These files can then be viewed or downloaded by people viewing
     the user's	Out Box	page using Mosaic, Netscape or another Web Browser.

     The URL for the user's Out	Box Page is http://<machine-name>/~<user-name>

FILE STRUCTURE    [Toc]    [Back]

     When outbox is installed a	directory called "public_html" is
     automatically created in the user's home directory. A default Out Box
     page is also created in the file "index.html". All	files published
     through outbox are	placed in this directory. Files	published as links are
     created as	"soft-links" in	the file system. More information on
     publishing	files is available from	the Help Menu of outbox.
